Meet Gillian Sarah who is the mastermind behind the look of this website template.
Gillian Sarah is a young designer located in Aberdeen, Scotland. She specializes in high-end branding and web development, and does it with style, commitment and boundless energy.
Her website template that I bought (The Helen) appealed to me not because of the name, rather for its elegance, soft colours, clarity of messaging and ease of navigation.
Gillian Sarah has numerous other products available. To help the inexperienced website designer she has created how-to videos that walk you through the customizing process of the template.
Her tips for creating a website that shines?
a) less is more on websites
b) consistent branding
c) clean white space
d) user friendly navigation
e) spell-checking
f) testing that everything works as it should

what i purchased
I purchased a Divi child-theme template from Gillian Sarah called The Helen and quite frankly it took over my life for months.
For a small amount, Gillian Sarah installed the theme on BlueHost for me, and thankfully got me started. I had tons of questions and she (bless her) was always there quickly with a response.
A side note: I can be a nuisance when trying to learn something new, and Divi website building was definitely “new” to me.
It was, at first, a love-hate relationship with this powerful software. But I am getting it and here you see the results of many hours of YouTube learning. If I can do this at 73, you can too but know it is not for the faint of heart.
Gillian Sarah has taught me so much about website focus, branding and Divi. She quickly became a role model as to how to be a highly attentive business owner.
But there is another wonderful web developer/web manager that came to my aid with this website: Andrew and his team at Varo WP (www.varowp.com) – they took this website to another level completely and did it with elegance and style. Thank you Andrew and your team!
Note: Purchasing this Divi child theme requires you to buy hosting from a server-supplier as well as the Divi software from Elegant Themes. In the end I am thrilled I did. But I repeat this work is not for the faint of heart.
